Dunlop’s CX series has always been about control. The new CX CONTROL series has been further improved and developed with seven premium performance tennis rackets. The rackets will allow players to play a faster, more powerful game while retaining that all important feel and control. New performance bags coordinate with the rackets.
The new cosmetic featuring a deep red and black with a flash of neon red are powered by Srixon technology and feature the acclaimed Sonic Core made with Infinergy® by BASF. Designed for players who want to stay in control of their game, the rackets pride themselves on the new POWERGRID STRINGTECH+ and CONTROL FRAME GEOMETRY technologies, as well as the proven VIBROSHIELD comfort technology.
These technologies create performance rackets with an updated string pattern to increase spin and power, an updated frame shape to improve stability and an overall more aerodynamic frame. The new CX series is testament to the rigorous research and testing by Dunlop Srixon engineers in Japan.

The CX series features several key technologies to enable the delivery of controlled power and spin, whilst retaining feel and comfort. They are as follows:
POWERGRID STRINGTECH+: The new CX comes with an updated string pattern – the cross (horizontal) strings have been widened (vertically) leading to increased spin and power in the central hitting area. The wider string pattern also creates a better perception of the racket.
CONTROL FRAME GEOMETRY: The new CX internal frame shape has been updated in the 2 and 10 o’clock areas, adjusting from a trapezium to a box shape. The box shape results in improved stability in the face and throat of the racket.
HOOP STIFFNESS: Due to the concave area at the top of the racket, the new CX has a decrease in hoop stiffness, resulting in increased flexibility of the hoop towards the centre
of the face. The increased flexibility means the ball holds for longer on the strings, giving a better ‘catch’ feeling.
FRAME STIFFNESS: The frame stiffness on the new CX is increased due to the upgraded box shape and the improved carbon composition of the new mold. This provides improved stability in the face and throat of the racket giving greater control when hitting.
SONIC CORE MADE WITH INFINERGY BY BASF: The CX series of rackets also benefits from the use of Sonic Core made with Infinergy® by BASF, innovative technology unveiled in the first CX Series. Located in the 2 and 10 o’clock areas of the racket, Infinergy® is the world’s first E-TPU (expanded thermoplastic polyurethane) developed by BASF.
